A Place for Couples Therapy,  Couples Workshops, and Professional Training

Welcome to our website. We have been offering Gottman Method Couples Therapy since 2002 when we each began our training directly with Drs. John and Julie Gottman. In 2008, we created Sonoma Couples Workshop and began offering Gottman’s Art and Science of Love couples workshop and also began offering training to therapists in Gottman Method. Since that time we have offered over 30 workshops to couples and have each become master trainers for the Gottman Institute.

Recently, based upon personal life decisions we have decided to stop offering couples workshops and professional trainings in the United States. Marcia will continue to offer these in Latin America. This is a bittersweet change in that we will both miss working together with couples and therapists in these workshops and training seminars. However, each of us have our own marital relationships and families and we each plan to spend more time with our spouses, children, (and in Mike’s case) grandchildren.

Also, we will each continue to offer couples therapy, in standard and marathon formats, through our Sonoma Couples Workshop office in Santa Rosa, and we will each also continue to work as consultants for the Gottman Institute helping therapists on the path towards certification as Gottman Method couples therapists.
